He began by performing wrestling routines in his high school’s talent show, he went as far as using fake blood to make it look real and good too.
He had previously been involved in the school’s football team right from when he was 6 and became the captain of the team before he graduated.
From when he was little, Shawn never liked the name Michael, so everyone just called him Shawn instead, but after he dropped out of college to fully pursue his wrestling career, he decided to adopt Shawn Michaels as his ring name.
He attended Randolph High School on Randolph Air Force Base after which he proceeded to Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas but did not have the patience to study, so he dropped out and went for what he really wanted to do.
Shawn Michaels’ strict upbringing did one good thing for him, it gave him a mind of his own from an early stage so that at the age of 12, he already knew what he wanted to do with himself.
To prove his worth, Shawn Michaels threw out a challenge for the WWF Championship and went ahead to win his first Intercontinental Championship, which announced him as one of the industry’s premier singles stars and he certainly did not waste that opportunity.
He was famous for feuds such as the ones he had with Triple H between 20, with Chris Jericho in 2013, with Angle and Hogan in 2015, with Mc Mahon in 2005, with Randy Orton and so many others.
He lost the match, but spectators and professionals alike were impressed with his first attempt and so, more opportunities came calling.
