An alleged white supremacist in Kansas killed a black woman who threatened to “tell everyone” that he’s HIV positive, authorities said.Ronald Lee Kidwell, 47, told police that the violence erupted when Me Shon Cooper, 43, of Kansas City, Missouri, attacked him in his home after making the threat to expose his HIV status, according to an affidavit obtained by the Kansas City Star.
He later told police he “would never be released from prison” after confessing the truth and leading investigators to a trash can in his garage, where Cooper’s body was wrapped in trash bags, according to the affidavit.
Carolyn Foster, Kidwell’s estranged daughter, told the newspaper that Kidwell has bragged about being in the Ku Klux Klan and would proudly show off a swastika tattoo on his left arm.
Wells knew that raising a black son wouldn’t always be easy.
“I figured I’d have to explain some name-calling, have hard talks about language, navigate the waters when somebody’s parent won’t let my son take their daughter to prom,” she says.
Kidwell said Cooper threatened him and then pulled a knife from her purse before striking him in the left hand, prompting him to “flip out” and retaliate, the affidavit states.
